COVID-19 advice for the pcv
Safe Online Ministry
Following Covid-19 there has been an increase in online ministry across the PCV. During the pandemic, the Safe Church Unit provided advice on safe online ministry and the privacy compliance requirements for this, to the PCV, to all Sessions, Ministers and Safe Church Representatives. Please contact SCU if you wish to receive this advice and with any questions about safe online ministry.

* please note - if online ministry to children under 18 years old is going to be recorded the permission of parents must be obtained first. There is a dual permission form available for this purpose - contact the Safe Church Unit for a copy to be emailed to you.
Image Capture and Consent Form for Online Use
This form is for use when photos are taken or video recorded of individuals, for use in online church services and activities, or for posting on a church website or a Session authorised website (e.g. YouTube), used in church publications or used within the ministry program and the church in general.
Safe Church Training
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions Basic and Advanced Training in 2020-21, there is an automatic extension of time to complete training for any person who was required to complete either form of Safe Church training during the restrictions. This extension of time is until the close of 2022.
